ARGENTINA, PARAGUAY, URUGUAY & BRAZIL - 13 Days

DAY  1 :
Buenos Aires. (Argentina)

Arrival to the international airport of Ezeiza and transfer to the hotel.

Half day city tour visiting Buenos Aires city: “Plaza de Mayo” where the Government Hose (Pink House) is located, the Cathedral, the City Hall, San Telmo, where the city was born 425 years ago, Puerto Madero,  the neighborhood  recovered from the 19 century and which became the most exclusive and upper class residential areas today, La Boca, where  Tango was  born, colorful area from where the poor immigrants, most from Italy, build the Nation. Recoleta , the high class residential area, plenty of very good and elegant hotel and restaurants and finally Palermo, with wonderful parks and avenues.Optional by night: Dinner and tango show. Accommodation.

DAY 2 : Buenos Aires. (Argentina)

Half day tour visiting  the Delta of  The Paraná River at Tigre .Our trip starts going by bus to Olivos town. First stop at Maipu terminal station next to the Presidential Residence. Then, we take a journey in the famous Coastline train, ultimate generation train which connects the most elegant residential areas facing the River Plate. At San Isidro station we enjoy the shopping center and its pleasant surroundings. Arriving at Delta station, we board a modern panoramic catamaran boat to discover the wonders of the Delta of the Parana River and thousands of islands and islets crisscrossed by rivers and brooks. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at Indian Restaurant “Katmandu”. Overnight.

DAY  3: Buenos Aires. (Argentina)

Full day Tour Gaucho Party.  A wonderful day at the countryside .After a bus ride through the great Buenos Aires getting into the Pampas (flat green lands), will arrive a “Estancia” (Ranch) for a “Gaucho” (cowboy) experience.Barbecue, the wine, popular singing and dancing show will be performed during lunch, giving visitors an idea about the Gaucho daily life, horse races, etc. (Vegetarian food available upon request).

DAY 4: Buenos Aires-Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay)

Transfer to the port to take the hydrofoil to Colonia del Sacramento. Arrival and walking city tour.Colonia del Sacramento is a real Spanish colonial  city stopped at the XVIII century, just across the river. Walk trough the old fortress used to stop the intruders from attacking Buenos Aires; recognized today as a World Monumental Site ( Unesco´s Heritage from 1995). Include walking city tour. Overnight


DAY  5: Colonia del Sacramento-Montevideo ( Uruguay)

Transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Montevideo. Arrival and half day Citytour visiting Montevideo, capital of Uruguay,  and the younger sister of Buenos Aires. Overnight.

DAY  6: Montevideo-Asunción ( Paraguay)

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Asunción . Arrival and transfer to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight

DAY 7: Asunción- “ Paraguay” Cruise ( Paraguay)

In the moorning, visit of Asunción, capital of Paraguay to, see the contrast between a modern city and relicts from the colonial past. After the visit of the commercial and historic center, we will continue to the exorbitant beautiful residential quarters and have a look on the modest settlements. Massive  markets which  contrast with the large and modern malls . In the afteroon, transfer to the port to board the ParaguayCruise departing 20:00 hs to navigate along the Paraguay river. Dinner  folkloric show and Overnight.

DAY  8 : “ Paraguay” Cruise  ( Paraguay)

In the moorning, arrival to Confuso River . Photographic tour in special vessels to see the great variety of birds and the typical fauna of the place. Breakfast on board and arrival to Villa Hayes. Citytour visiting the museum and handcraft market.Dinner “ The night of the Capitan”. Overnight.



DAY  9: “ Paraguay”  Cruise–Asunción ( Paraguay)

Breakfast and transfer to a typical chaqueña farm to enjoy the nature and rural life.Option for: photographic safari, horse riding , fishing and canoeing. Lunch on board. Afternoon at leisure to rest in the pool. Arrival to Asuncion and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY  10: Asunción-Rio de Janeiro ( Brazil)

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 11: Rio de Janeiro ( Brazil)

Half day tour  to ascend the Corcovado, located inside Floresta da Tijuca . The Cristo Redentor statue, the main postcard of Río de Janeiro; from Cristo Redentor´s foot, we will appreciate the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, and Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden); we will make a stop at D. Marta viewpoint, from where we will see the Maracaná Football Stadium, the Guanabara bay, and Pan de Azucar among other attractions. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 12: Rio de Janeiro ( Brazil)

Half day tour visiting the city and Sugar Loaf. Visit to the famous soccer stadium, Maracaná, crossing the bridge of more than 14 kilometers to the other side of the Guanabara bay, from where the visitors will admire the marvelous city view. We will continue through Copacabana beach, arriving to Urca neighborhood to embark the cable railway, which will take us to top of Sugar Loaf. This mountain is great indoor Rio of Janeiro port and Guanabara bay. From the top of “Pan de Azucar”, the visitors will appreciate the view of the city, the mountains chain surrounding it and the sea. The botanical garden of Rio of Janeiro, has hundreds of different plants. The visitors can appreciate aquatic plants of Amazonas, coffee plants and imperial palm trees. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 13: Rio de Janeiro - India


Transfer to the airport to take the flight back to India.
